A Champagne Cocktail for Race Day

Knowing not all guests are bourbon drinkers (and even those that are love good champagne), we are excited to have G.H. If you want to try something special at your party, this Mumm Julep recipe is a winning addition to any Derby celebration.

Mumm Julep

Perfect for a toast to the Derby.

Ingredients

3 ounces G.H. Mumm Champagne
½ ounce Martell Cognac
1 sugar cube
6-7 mint leaves

Prep

In a julep tin or large flute, add mint leaves and sugar cube and a splash of water. Gently press mint leaves with a muddler to release oils. Add cognac, champagne, crushed ice and stir gently. Top with more crushed ice to mound. Garnish with a mint bouquet and strawberry.
