Join us for our Seventeenth Annual Derby Party!
Saturday, May 1st, 2021, 5:00-8:00PM — Greenwood Park
What started as a small gathering in our apartment in early 2000s has grown into a legendary event for over 600 of our friends. 2021 will look different from past events but we hope to back in full form in 2022. Whether you’re in it for the ponies, the prizes, the spectacle of the hats, or the swagger of julep drinkers in seersucker suits, we guarantee a good time and mint juleps for all!
Reserved outdoor seating will open at 5:00PM at Greenwood Park with table service for each party of guests — any time you are not AT your table, you will need to wear a mask and maintain social distancing guidelines
A stage and live performance from Dandy Wellington and His Band — that’s right, LIVE MUSIC
Maker’s Mark mint juleps handmade by Greenwood Park’s finest and served in official 2021 Derby glasses
A hat contest (in some form) with prizes, so BRING YOUR BEST LOOKS
Live televised coverage of the 147th Run for the Roses A chance to see and be seen in a festive (socially distanced) outdoor atmosphere
We are pleased to return to Greenwood Park. We’ll convert this 13,000 square foot South Slope beer garden into a bourbon garden! Bocce ball courts will become a dedicated corn toss area, and we’ll still have room for a stage, dance floor, hat-making station, and areas that can only be defined once mint juleps are in our system.
