A New Way to Make a Classic Bourbon Cocktail
Brooklyn Derby's recipe for enjoying any seasons drinking a bourbon cocktail. On a trip to 21c Museum Hotel’s Proof on Main, we fell hard for their customized version of a classic Boulevardier, the Bulleitvardier. With hints of cinnamon and clove, this one warms you with bourbon-y goodness from the inside out.
1 ½ oz Bulleit bourbon
¾ oz Aperol
¾ oz Fonseca port
4 healthy dashes of Fee Brother’s old fashioned bitters
Add all ingredients into a pint glass. Add ice. Stir well, then strain into a coupe glass. Shave a large orange peel. Express the orange peel over and around the rim of the coupe, then insert the peel into the drink. Enjoy!
